Stock Condition Survey (YMCA residents only)

We have appointed Ridge and Partners to undertake stock condition surveys from 9 April to 27 April.  These surveys will help us plan for future work and investment.

A stock condition survey looks at all parts of a property to assess current condition and enable planning for future work should it be required.

Although each site will differ due to the varying nature of our properties, typical items that will be looked at as part of the survey include roofs, rainwater goods, general structure, windows, doors, kitchens and heating etc.

The surveyor will be selecting addresses at random and should take less than 15 minutes. Surveyors are likely to be accompanied by housing staff, but will also be carrying identification badges and letters of authority; please ask to see the letter if it is not shown to you. If you wish to verify the identity of your surveyor or have a query please contact Ridge and Partners on 01962 834 396.

These surveys will not lead to any change in tenancy or rent and the surveyor will not be able to comment on any specific repair or maintenance issues, so please report these in the usual way.
